Dr. Steven Zimmet is the Founder and Medical Director of Zimmet Vein & Dermatology of Austin, TX. He helped develop the technique of EndoVenous Laser Treatment (EVLT) of varicose veins and was involved in obtaining FDA approval for this technique. He is the immediate Past-President of the American College of Phlebology and has won research awards in the field. Dr. Zimmet was listed by the Consumers' Research Council of America in the "Guide to America's Top Physicians".
