About Dr. Marius Saines, MD

Dr. Saines attended Medical School at Brussels University in Belgium.  His Residency training in General Surgery was completed in New York City, at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York Infirmary Hospital, and New York University Hospital.  He then completed a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of Southern California.  Dr.Saines has been in private practice in the Marina Del Rey, West LA, and Santa Monica area for over 25 years.  He is a member of the International Society of Endovascular Specialists, the Society for Vascular Surgery, and was Chairman of Surgery at Centinela Hospital Medical Center for two years.  He is also the inventor of three medical devices, for which he holds patents.  Dr. Saines has been designated a Veins Hero for his work in advancing the less invasive treatment of venous disease. His other interests are Endovascular Surgery in which he was one of the first doctors in LA to perform Endovascular Aneurysm repair.

Dr. Saines has committed his practice to the minimally invasive treatment of all vascular disorders, including arterial disease and venous problems.  He has had extensive experience with endovenous laser ablation, sclerotherapy, and phlebectomy in both the ambulatory setting as well as with the powered Trivex system. 

In August 2010, Dr. Saines became partner with Dr. Samuel Ahn, at University Vascular Associates.
