Physician Information

Dr. Bressman has been trained in the classical techniques for varicose vein surgery, commonly called stripping and ligation. When his wife developed unsightly varicose veins after her first pregnancy, he took a personal interest in specializing in the care of these problems with an emphasis on aesthetic technique, patient comfort, and prevention of recurrence by analyzing the patterns of vein failure so that the treatments could be individualized to match the patients problems.

Dr. Bressman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgery (FACS) and a Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) and completed an additional clinical fellowship in peripheral vascular surgery at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Early in his career when his wife developed unsightly varicose veins after her first pregnancy he took a personal interest in specializing in the care of these problems with an emphasis on aesthetic technique, patient comfort, and prevention of recurrence by analyzing the patterns of vein failure so that the treatments could be individualized to match the patients’ problems.

Dr. Bressman has successfully completed is certification from the American Board of Phlebology and is been awarded Diplomate status.
