DR. EMILY ALTMAN LAUNCHES ADVANCED AESTHETIC LASER TREATMENTS IN LIVINGSTON, NJ

Dr. Emily Altman of Advanced Skin Wisdom /Comprehensive Dermatology and Laser Center is launching cosmetic laser treatments to help the residents of Livingston, NJ and the surrounding areas turn back the clock on aging. Advanced Skin Wisdom is the latest addition to Dr. Altman’s extensive dermatology practice, Comprehensive Dermatology and Laser Center. New treatments offered at Advanced Skin Wisdom using the latest laser technology from Sciton include Fractionated Laser Skin Resurfacing, MicroLaserPeels, Laser Hair Removal, Skin Tightening and PhotoFacial Rejuvenation. About Emily M. Altman, MD, FAAD

Dr. Emily Altman is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist who specializes in medical, surgical and aesthetic dermatology in Livingston, NJ. A graduate of the New Jersey Medical School, Dr. Altman completed her residency in dermatology at Columbia University in 1997. She has published numerous scientific articles in medical journals and is a member of a number of professional organizations. Dr. Altman is affiliated with Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Saint Barnabas Medical Center, and has been in private practice at Comprehensive Dermatology Center since 2000. Dr. Altman was named one of New Jersey’s Top Doctors by New Jersey Monthly magazine.

Dr. Altman is an avid gardener. She spends much of her free time attending to her floral gardens at her home in Livingston, NJ. “I regard my vocation and avocation as a direct result of being a highly visual person,” says Dr. Altman. She draws similarities from both of her passions, gardening and dermatology. Both require nurturing, proper diet and suitable environmental factors in order to thrive. This love and talent for both dermatology and aesthetics naturally led to the addition of laser and cosmetic dermatology at Dr. Altman’s practice.
